Hello everyone, recently I’ve been working on a project and to test it on Roblox itself (not the studio), I tried to save and publish it, sometimes it updated the changes and sometimes not, I didn’t understand what’s the difference between publish and save, I do know that when you create a new experience you need to publish it to Roblox. Is there really a difference between those two ...
Ok so in this case Im pretty sure you have to publish the experience in roblox studio, and by the I mean go to file → Publish to roblox It should then publish the newest version of your game and it should be playable?? Just a guess cause this is usually what I do to fix it.
Open the Baseplate template and use ‘Save to Roblox as’ to save over the place that is having the problem. Restart studio and re-open the one you just saved it over.
I got it to work by going to publish to roblox to, choosing the group I want the game under, and then just overwriting a plain baseplate game I had. Also, if you had any animations, you will mostly likely have to re-export them under your name for them to work.
Hey Creators, We have just rolled out granular experience permissions for groups - giving you as a group owner controls to grant per-experience permissions for specific roles in your group. For example, you now have the freedom to create roles that only have edit permissions for a specific experience or can only access a specific experience’s analytics without granting the same access to ...
Hi I am have been messing around with roblox studio a bit and now want to play test it on roblox. When I did it says that the game is unavailable. My account has been registerd as 13+ and the maturity is minimal so I dont see why it would be unavailable. I have tried to play it with different account but also doesn’t work.
If you get banned (legit or false) by Roblox mods in Studio or in games you will still own the group via the holder. As for the executive part, you can give a lot of game and group modifying rights to your main account while keeping the holder as the group owner, so it is equally expedient. Hope this helps. God bless.
So I am trying to test out my new “quiz” game on Roblox. However, when I try to play, it only gives me a baseplate with none of the programmed GUI popping up. The output prints no errors related to publishing/saving, so I don’t know why this is doing this. Only sometimes the GUI pops up, but most of the time it’s just an unprogrammed/unbuilt Roblox game. Thanks!
Hello @jesus2017tec38! Publishing Group Places If you’re the group owner or a member with the Create and edit group games permission, you can publish a group place as instructed below. Publish as a New Game Select File → Publish to Roblox to open the publishing window. Enter a place name and an optional description.
You can click “publish to roblox as” to update your game. If you want a test game, save a duplicate using “Save to Roblox to…” If the players dislikes the update, you can revert to older verisons. You don’t need to copy script by script, just publish it to the original place and you can overlap.
