On a day when the men’s fastest-time-at-Boston list was significantly rewritten, U.S. runners did their part and then some. Zouhair Talbi led the way, placing fifth in 2:03:45, 1 minute and 13 seconds faster than Ryan Hall’s previous U.
Defending champions John Korir and Sharon Lodeki both secured their second titles in Boston. Korir also set a course record at 2:01:52. In the wheelchair division, Marcel Hug claimed his ninth Boston title and Eden Rainbow-Cooper won for the second time.
