This story has been updated with new information. CHEBOYGAN—Cheboygan County officials have urged residents north of the city to evacuate after a levee was breached on the Little Black River.

As of 4:15 p.m. Thursday, the water level at the Cheboygan dam was 5.04 inches from the top, according to a State Emergency Operations Center update.
