One of the best ways to capture bird photos is to watch the birds behaviour. When I saw this male Yellow-throated Euphonia with nesting material in its mouth, I knew it would likely keep coming back to the branch I saw it on. I may not have known where its nest was, but I knew where one of its rest perch’s was and that was good enough. I rely on encapsulating devices heavily when I’m trapping raccoons. Also called ‘dog proof traps’ or ‘coon cuffs’ these traps are specially designed to only capture raccoons and the occasional skunk or opossum. They’re less bulky than cage traps and are very effective. Once you get into a rhythm you can make raccoon sets in less than 60 seconds.
