We lost one of the all time greats this week—legendary drummer Sly Dunbar passed away on Jan 26. Dunbar played on thousands of recordings (Brian Eno once said “When you buy a reggae record, there’s a 90% chance the drummer is Sly Dunbar”), and was perhaps best known as half of the powerhouse rhythm section and production team Sly & Robbie with Robbie Shakespeare.
