On April 15, 1995 ECW’s second annual Hostile City Showdown took place at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The main event was a match between Terry Funk and Cactus Jack. After Cactus Jack pinned Funk for the win, he was attacked by the new ECW World Heavyweight Champion The Sandman. Funk then tried to light Cactus Jack on fire with a flaming branding iron. | Davenport Sports Network

On August 13, 1994 ECW’s inaugural Hardcore Heaven took place at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the main event, Terry Funk fought Cactus Jack to a no contest after Public Enemy (Rocco Rock & Johnny Grunge) interfered and attacked both men. The show had a notable ending, which saw the audience throw dozens of folding chairs into the ring, burying Public Enemy. The situation got so out of hand that Joey Styles had to leave his broadcast position and take the public address microph
